We Need Strong Public Safety

Supervisor Andersen ensures our public safety by allocating the necessary resources to protect our communities.

  • Supervisor Andersen will continue to allocate sufficient funds to the County Sheriff to fully protect our communities, and to recruit and retain the needed dedicated deputies.

  • As a former Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Honolulu, Supervisor Andersen believes that the County must continue to provide the resources needed by our District Attorney so that all criminals will be prosecuted and victims protected.
  • Supervisor Andersen strongly supports the County’s Zero Tolerance for Domestic Violence and the creation of Family Justice Centers throughout the County.
  • Working closely with the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District, Moraga Orinda Fire Protection District, and as a Board Member of the Contra Costa Fire Protection District, Supervisor Andersen is working to ensure that we have the appropriate fire and emergency medical response needed in each of our communities.
  • Supervisor Andersen continues to promote emergency preparedness and supports the strong CERT Programs in Lamorinda, Walnut Creek, and the San Ramon Valley.
